I keep thinking about my duplicate. Is he doing the same things I would be doing? He'll have the same history, but each day for him since the copying would be slightly different because we could have all made different choices. It's a deep concept. He'll start thinking the same thoughts as me, but as he looks at things from a different perspective he'll become a different person. Which means he's no longer a duplicate. He was a copy, but now he's an individual. Ugh.. I should have concentrated more in Psychology studies

Looked into the Plasma relays and it looks like we received an upgrade while we were in space port. You'd think I would have got the schematics now, wouldn't you ? I'll have to talk to Chief and find out why I didn't

Plasma relays are behaving really odd. I mean.. really well. Which is odd. They're running at 120% at the moment, and they've never done that. I'll have to do some checks. Might even have to chat with Jack and see if he knows of anything.

Apparently we've been contacted by the other Forge. I wonder what it must be like to see yourselves on screen. I don't envy the bridge crew. I'll find out from Chief when I've finished getting my team to do their plasma checks.

It's started. We've scanned another ship like ours. I mean EXACTLY like ours. Which means, they know our weak points, and our strong points. I can't imagine how this will go.

Chief was in a meeting today with Captain and a load of suggestions were put forward. But it’s a waiting game really. Nobody really knows what’s going on. We finalised a direction where the scan came from, and we’re heading that way. It’s tense, that’s all I know.  Hope Jake is ok.

Jake told me that they’re not going to survive. That our Doc found out that their DNA is going to fail.

Great. I feel wonderful about how I’ve treated him now. I mean.. if the original Jake has died already.. it’s too much to bear thinking about.

Not sure if anybody is taking this serious. But it's driving me to distraction. There's another one of me somewhere and he's got my history, he knows my family.. he even likes his mothers gravy!

Looks like we've been scanned. Not scanned as in checked over, scanned as in "to make a duplication". None of us know what to expect now. Is it an instant duplication? Are there more than one? There's another one of me somewhere and I don't like it.

Nothing on the scanners yet. It's getting a bit tense here, I must admit.

The Fake Jake found something in the logs of the duplicate Delta today, and mentioned it to his Chief, who in turn passed it through to ours. Some kind of scan apparently, which seemingly went unnoticed. We've set to program our proximity alarms so if we get a similar scan, you won't be able to sleep through the noise. Let's hope it works.

Oh, and for the record, I'm fighting with myself. I don't want to get too close to Jake. I mean.. its not right. Its not him.. but it is.. ugh.. I might have to go see the ships councellor. Its screwing me up.
